Midsummer heat is upon us and the Carnival is coming around yet again! That means more chances to win big with the annual Super 50/50! Drawn once a year on the last night of the Carnival, the final payout is the biggest prize to be had! $2 gets you a chance at thousands! Help support the organization as well as get a chance to win big, just contact any department member prior to Carnival week or stop by the central tents during the week's working hours! Also, as a matter of fire safety on these nice summer nights, be sure to follow the guidelines distributed to each house regarding Fire-pits and Chimineas. These must be kept on a non-flammable surface such as cement, brick, paving stones, etc. and away from anything flammable such as decks and the wood pile. They must also be at least 15 feet from houses and have some form of spark arresting device (screen of some kind). There are several other guidelines as well so please consult the forms delivered to each house and have a fun and fire-safe summer! |
